The

Allahabad Bank intends to
pre-qualify the reputed & experienced Architects/Architectural firms for the
proposed construction of a new multistoreyed building admeasuring approximately
2,00,000 sqft built-up area for its Head Office on its land measuring about
three acres in New Town, Central Business District (CBD) Area (Action Area-II)
at RAJARHAT, KOLKATA.

1. Basic criteria for Pre-qualification of Architects/Architectural firms :

1. Intending Architects/Architectural firms who presently work with
   Government organizations, Banks, Public Sector Undertakings, reputed corporate
   etc. and having at least 07 years of continuous experience in Architectural
   field, as on 31.3.2008. During which preferably one of the jobs executed in
   Kolkata or near by area.
2. Intending Architects or Architects of Architectural firms are to be
   Graduate/post Graduate Diploma in Architecture.
3. Members of Indian institute of Architects/Members of the Council of
   Architecture.
4. Architects should have satisfactorily executed architectural consultancy
   work of following magnitudes for large office buildings for corporate
   offices/controlling offices of Government organizations, Banks, Public Sector
   Undertakings, reputed Corporate etc. during last 7 years as on 31.3.2008.

i) One job costing not less than Rs.80.00 Crores

Or

ii) Two jobs costing not less than Rs.50.00 Crores each

5. Architects should have satisfactory executed at lease one job for
   Government, corporate offices/controlling offices for Banks/Public Sector
   Undertakings/ reputed Corporate etc. during the last 7 years as on 31.03.2008
   having total built up area at least 2,00,000 sqft.
6. Architects should process adequate organizational structure comprising of
   qualified Architects, Architects having some knowledge and expertise in green
   Architecture, Engineers, specialists, other technical officers and staff
   alongwith computer aided facilities, associates such as reputed/well
   experienced structural, electrical, sanitary, plumbing, firefighting & land
   escaping consultants etc. to execute work of the above nature and magnitude.

2. The interested Architects may apply in the prescribed format (Annexure ‘A’) .
The eligible Architects may obtain prescribed format from ZONAL OFFICE, 8, N. S.
Road, Kolkata -700 001 during working hours or the format may be downloaded from
www.tenderhome.com The prescribed format duly filled in with all necessary
particulars as stated in the prescribed format along with
certificates/credentials regarding jobs undertaken at various organizations
should be submitted in a sealed cover superscribing "Pre-qualification of
Architects/Architectural firms for the proposed construction of Bank’s Building
At Rajarhat, Kolkata" on the envelop along with name, address and contact number
on or before last date as mentioned in the Advertisement i.e. 15.07.2008
addressed to :

3. Pre qualification will be made based on particulars and documents furnished
by the applicant as required and satisfactory verification carried out by the
Bank. The Bank’s decision as regards eligibility is final and binding.

4. Selection of Architect/Architectural firms will be made on the basis of
design competition amongst the pre-qualified Architects/Architectural firms and
no further press notice in this regard will be issued.

5. For any other clarifications in connection with this matter, intending
agencies may contact the Bank’s Zonal Office, at ‘Gillander House’, 8, N.S.Road,
Kolkata -700001 (Phone no.033- 22316636/22316700) before the last date of
submission as mentioned in the "ad".

6. Incomplete applications and applications not filled properly with requisite
details are liable for rejection and Bank will not entertain any further
communication is such cases. Bank reserves the right to accept or reject any or
all applications without assigning any reasons whatsoever.
